Understanding the challenges bands face everyday, and knowing that the Vancouver cyberpunk quintet Left Spine Down were sad to inform everyone that they had been forced to cancel all the US dates for their much anticipated “Touring For Voltage 2008 Tour”. Bit Riot Records artists Cyanotic, Breath and Decay, and drummer Jason Prost of mindFluxFuneral have pulled together for a special “Bit Riot Mega Mix”set on October 6th in Chicago to support of their label mates, Left Spine Down in the fight to bring them across the border in ’09 – and you are invited!
Monday Oct 06, 2008
8:00 PM / 17+ / $10

It seems the only way to get across the border legally is to pay $1000s to lawyers or wait 6 months for process with a chance of still getting turned down. To help ensure their tour in 2009, we will be selling the updated Bit Riot US version of “Fighting for Voltage” along with the US Tour Shirt at this date. I would suggest all you LSD fans in the Chicago area come by and get this gear! The profits from these sales will go directly to funding the LSD 2009 tour.
The “Bit Riot Mega Mix” set will feature Bit Riot artists playing their favorite and most intense tracks, including debuts from the upcoming Prehab 25mg EP from Cyanotic and the first live performance in Chicago for Breath and Decay.
We are planning to capture all of this on film and uploaded everywhere. Though these bands cannot replace their Canadian brothers, Left Spine Down, they can promise an exciting night for all. Please come join us as we continue their Fight For Voltage!
